HELLO! WELCOME TO THE GARCIA-LEZA LIBRARY
I am Elizabeth Hopson, your Lightning Bug Information Literacy Specialist. I enjoy working with our students, parents, and teachers to create a warm and welcoming environment. The library is a place for us to work together, learn, and explore new adventures through reading, storytelling, creating, and conversation.

¡HOLA! BIENVENIDO A LA BIBLIOTECA GARCIA-LEZA
Soy Elizabeth Hopson, su Especialista en Alfabetización de Información sobre Insectos Lightning. Disfruto trabajando con nuestros estudiantes, padres y maestros para crear un ambiente cálido y acogedor. La biblioteca es un lugar para trabajar juntos, aprender y explorar nuevas aventuras a través de la lectura, la narración, la creación y la conversación.

LEZA LIBRARY HAPPENINGS
Book check out and Library Bags
Students will borrow an assigned library book bag for the school year, and borrow at least one book each week. Each class is scheduled to visit the library once a week for 50 minutes. During this time, students independently choose their own books, learn the importance of book care, listen to stories, participate in discussions, and create in library centers and Maker Space.
The Leza Library is Proud of our Readers!
We have many things to celebrate at Garcia-Leza. Most recently, the Leza Library wants to acknowledge our students that have begun reading! We are proud of the hard work from students and the support they receive from their teachers and families. Congratulations to our reading Lightning Bugs!
SUCESOS DE LA BIBLIOTECA LEZA
Libro de salida y bolsas de la biblioteca
Los estudiantes tomarán prestada una bolsa de libros de la biblioteca asignada para el año escolar y tomarán prestado al menos un libro cada semana. Cada clase tiene programado visitar la biblioteca una vez por semana durante 50 minutos. Durante este tiempo, los estudiantes eligen independientemente sus propios libros, aprenden la importancia del cuidado de los libros, escuchan historias, participan en debates y crean en centros bibliotecarios y Maker Space.
