My name is Lilia Martinez, I have 17 years experience in the classroom as a Pre-Kinder and Kinder teacher. I began as a paraprofessional for 3 years to make sure that teaching was what I wanted to do. I would work during the day and go to college in the afternoons. It was hard juggling both but I soon found that teaching was my calling and I never looked back. The best part of my job is working with my students. My goal is always to maintain and incorporate a positive learning environment where I can foster key components needed to work efficiently with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. I am highly skilled in developing a classroom environment that stimulates fun and motivates while maintaining high levels of interest and learning.
