I am excited to be the Skills Specialist this year at Garcia-Leza EC/Pre-K Center. This is currently my fifth year at Garcia-Leza and sixth year in Aldine. I proudly represented Garcia-Leza as Campus Teacher of the Year (2012-2013), ESL Teacher of the Year (2013-2014), and SHABE Aldine ISD ESL Elementary Teacher of the Year (2014). I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a major in Elementary Education and minors in Early Childhood and Inclusion-Special Education. My main goal as an educator is to create a strong foundation of positive school experiences.

Tisha Moye  Tisha Moye

I am the school nurse here at Garcia-Leza EC/Pre-K Center. I enjoy working with the 3 & 4 year old kids. I have been a nurse since 1993 and have been working with the school district for more than 10 years.  I love being a nurse, the job is rewarding and there is never a boring moment when working with kids - the things they say are amazing.

As a career, nursing offers so many opportunities that I find exciting and  so many different fields for learning and growth, I encourage anyone who loves to help people and who wants a rewarding job, to consider nursing for a career.
