Early Childhood
The Early Childhood program is available for our children who have special needs. In the Early Childhood classrooms, students are placed in the least restrictive environment, where they are given support in the areas of need as determined by the ARD committee.

System for Early Acquisition of Learning Skills

The SEALS program is a language based program designed to serve three and four year old children identified as having a language delay or disorder. SEALS is offered for 2 hours, 2 days a week and is implemented collaboratively by a special education teacher and a speech language pathologist. The program also offers a parent training/home practice component that regularly conducts classes as part of the curriculum program. 

Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities

The PPCD program serves eligible 3, 4, and 5 year olds with disabilities. After a referral is made, the child is evaluated by a team and a meeting will be held to determine program placement. The PPCD curriculum is individualized to meet the needs of each student. Special transportation and other related services are available. Admission and registration for this program occurs throughout the school year.

Students who speak only English in the home are enrolled in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom.

Bilingual Pre-Kindergarten
Students enrolled in the Bilingual Pre-Kindergarten classroom receive their instruction in Spanish,
which is the primary language spoken at home. Bilingual teachers make provisions in both Spanish and
English to strengthen the students vocabulary.

ESL- Pre-Kindergarten
The ESL program is available for our students who have a background in the English language but may need additional language experiences to ensure success in developing oral language and beginning reading skills. Instruction is provided in English.
