I am a Regular Ed teacher here at Garcia Leza EC/PK Center. I am originally from New Orleans Louisiana, however I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern State University. I am a Generalist EC-6 certified teacher, who truly believes I was born to teach this age group. I have been positively impacting students at Garcia Leza for about 3 years. In my classroom, I stress the importance of self-confidence. If a student is confident in both the teacher and themselves, the sky is the only limit they see. My goal as a teacher is to develop a solid foundation that they can continue to build on throughout their life. It is truly an honor to be a teacher here at Garcia-Leza.
